Family receives $2 million in damages from vaccine court; mainstream media ignores case

(NaturalNews) Many Americans don't even know it exists. The mainstream media almost universally pretends it doesn't exist. It's the Federal Vaccine Court (National Vaccine Injury Compensation Program), created by Congress in 1988. This court awards millions of dollars annually to families who have been damaged by vaccines. This court gives legal immunity to pharmaceutical companies, shielding them from a court of law representing a true republic. By setting up a special kangaroo vaccine court, the supply of vaccines continues to multiply, even after people have been damaged by them.

This is an abandonment of true judicial process and accountability, essentially giving pharmaceutical companies a license to hurt others and write it off as a cost of doing business. To pay the families off, the federal Vaccine Court requires that vaccine manufacturer hand over 75 cents to a trust fund for every vaccine dose. To this multi-billion dollar vaccine industry, this 75-cent excise tax is just part of the cost of doing business, a cost which they can offset by raising their prices paid by taxpayer funds.

In this madness, the Vaccine Court has literally become a vicious cycle of abuse.

Mainstream media fails to talk about the $3 billion awarded to vaccine-injured families

For some reason, its taboo to talk about vaccine injuries, especially in the media. Instead of hearing about the nearly $3 billion in payouts to vaccine-injured families since 1988 from the Vaccine Court, we hear constantly that vaccines are safe and the science behind them is irrefutable. It's bizarre!
On top of that, many doctors can't even recognize the causes of nervous system disorders in babies and young children. Perhaps injecting aluminum adjuvants, mercury preservatives, foreign animal cells or aborted human fetal DNA is what's causing damage. Nervous system disorders are not random.

In this lack of understanding, most vaccine injuries go unreported. Parents with a child with cerebral palsy may be told by their doctor that the disability came from the parents' DNA. Parents whose child developed seizures and high fevers may be told by their doctor that their child was just having a reaction to cutting teeth. Parent's whose child has a speech impediment may be told this is normal. In reality, any damage of the nervous system could easily be caused by vaccines, since vaccines contain known neurotoxins.

Healthy baby disabled for life by the whooping cough vaccine; now lives with seizures, cerebral palsy

One of the most debilitating nervous system disorders that are caused by vaccines is encephalopathy. This was the diagnosis given to Angelica, the child of Theresa and Lucas Black, from Virginia. Like most parents, they dutifully followed their doctor's orders and got their child immunized, believing in vaccine safety and necessity.

However, their daughter Angelica soon developed life-threatening seizures and brain damage within three days after receiving several vaccinations. A Charlotte neurologist later diagnosed Angelica with vaccine-related encephalopathy. Five years later, in 2006, the federal Vaccine Court heard their story and awarded the family $2 million plus $250,000 each year for life for medical expenses.

Now, at age 14, Angelica is severely disabled thanks to the vaccines. She can't speak. She eats through a feeding tube. Angelica requires around-the-clock care. She suffers from cerebral palsy and a seizure disorder.

Thousands of vaccine injuries compensated through the US Vaccine Court; countless others left in the dark

Angelica is not the only one. Thousands of families have sought compensation from the National Vaccine Injury Compensation Program. Some have been compensated, some not, and still, there are many vaccine damages that go undiagnosed throughout the country.

According to federal records, over 15,740 families have filed with the Vaccine Court, but only 3,941 victims of vaccines have been compensated since 1988. The total payout since then for vaccine injuries is over $2.8 billion.

In 2014 alone, the court paid off 365 vaccine-injured families, compensating $202 million in damages. The pharmaceutical companies on the other hand, are not held liable. In fact, this payoff scheme allows them to continue their abuse throughout the country.

The federal law even wrote up a table of injuries that can be compensated for as long as the victim is diagnosed within a specific time window. In Angelica's case, she was two hours away from the cut-off time. She developed seizures within 70 hours after taking the pertussis vaccine, right within the 72-hour window.

And it got worse for her three days after the vaccination. One moment, Angelica was "sighing and cooing and playing," and then she stopped breathing. On the way to the emergency room, she went into fits of seizures. It didn't take long for a pediatric neurologist, Dr. Robert Nahouraii of Mecklenburg Neurological Associates, to conclude that Angelica had a reaction to the pertussis (whooping cough) vaccine. They were paid off by the US Vaccine Court in 2006.

Her mother, Theresa, said, "Everyone in this house has been affected. Nothing will ever be the same."

Breaking: Courts discreetly confirm MMR vaccine causes autism

(NaturalNews) You won't hear anything about it from the mainstream media, but the federal government's kangaroo "vaccine court" has once again conceded, albeit quietly, that the combination measles, mumps and rubella (MMR) vaccine does, indeed, cause autism. In a recently published ruling, part of which was censored from public view, a young boy was awarded hundreds of thousands of dollars after it was determined that the MMR vaccine led to a confirmed diagnosis of autism spectrum disorder (ASD).

Ten-year-old Ryan Mojabi's parents say he first suffered an encephalopathy after being vaccinated for MMR on December 19, 2003. Known as a "table injury," encephalopathy is a recognized, compensable adverse reaction to vaccines, and one that the kangaroo vaccine court has previously linked to vaccines. According to Ryan's parents, the MMR vaccine caused their son's encephalopathy, which manifested as "neuroimmunologically mediated dysfunctions in the form of asthma and ASD."

After being bumped around from court to court, Ryan's case was eventually heard by the vaccine court's Autism Omnibus Proceedings, according to The Huffington Post. And in the end, the federal government agreed that Ryan's encephalopathy had been caused by the MMR vaccine, a landmark ruling that confirms what Dr. Andrew Wakefield found more than 15 years ago when studying gut disorders in children given the MMR vaccine.

"Ryan suffered a Table injury under the Vaccine Act -- namely, an encephalitis within five to fifteen days following receipt (of MMR)," admitted the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) regarding the case. "This case is appropriate for compensation," it added, in full agreement with the court's decision.

Of particular note in the case is the fact that concession documents by the government remain under seal. While the court and the government at large openly admitted that the MMR vaccine caused Ryan's encephalitis, it did not make public its opinion on whether or not that encephalitis led to Ryan's other injuries, including those that fall into the category of ASD. But the fact that these documents remain censored shows that the government is hiding something of importance from the public, which most definitely has to do with the connection between the MMR vaccine and autism.

Concerned parents everywhere were right all along: MMR vaccine can cause autism

In a similar case heard during the same month, young Emily Moller from Houston, Texas, was also awarded massive compensation for injuries resulting from the MMR vaccine. According to reports, Emily experienced a severe reaction after receiving not only the MMR vaccine but also the DTaP (diphtheria, tetanus, and pertussis), HiB, and Prevnar vaccines. Like with Ryan's case, the government conceded that these vaccines led to Emily's autism and other developmental problems.

These two cases, combined with numerous published studies out of the U.S., South America, and Europe, prove that the MMR vaccine is not the harmless vaccine that the conventional medical industry claims it is. In fact, everything that Dr. Wakefield found back in the late 1990s concerning the MMR vaccine -- findings that cost him his career and reputation, by the way -- are proving to be undeniably true.

"There can be very little doubt that vaccines can and do cause autism," Dr. Wakefield recently stated from his home in Austin, Texas. "In these children, the evidence for an adverse reaction involving brain injury following the MMR that progresses to an autism diagnosis is compelling. It's now a question of the body count. The parents' story was right all along. Governments must stop playing with words while children continue to be damaged. My hope is that recognition of the intestinal disease in these children will lead to the relief of their suffering. This is long, long overdue."

Genetically engineered salmon, if approved by FDA, could destroy the salmon industry (Natural News)

(NaturalNews) As the world awaits the FDA's decision on whether to approve genetically modified salmon as "safe enough" to allow into the food supply, it seems that not enough people in the existing fishing industries have really thought this through. As you'll see here, approval of GE salmon could destroy the existing salmon industry. Why? Here's the reason:

The FDA says that once it approves GE salmon (which now seems likely), it will not require GE salmon to be labeled as "genetically modified" or "genetically engineered." In fact, the FDA ridiculously claims it would be illegal to require these GE fish to be labeled as such because they are, in the minds of the FDA, no different from regular fish.

Now here's why this matters: If consumers are not told which salmon is GE, many will avoid buying ALL salmon.

In fact, organizations like NaturalNews and many others like the Organic Consumers Association would likely take strong action, warning people to avoid all salmon because you never know which salmon is genetically modified.

As word about the non-labeling of GE salmon spreads, more and more consumers would avoid buying salmon altogether. This is precisely how the introduction of GE salmon into the food supply could destroy the existing salmon industry.

The FDA's inexcusable non-labeling of genetically modified salmon creates distrust in the entire category. And just as the natural health community has been successful in warning people to avoid MSG and HFCS, we will almost certainly be successful in warning people away from eating salmon, too (if GE salmon infects the food supply). And that's a shame because, by and large, the natural health industry supports wild-caught salmon as a healthy source of omega-3 oils. But virtually overnight, the FDA's approval of GE salmon could reverse our position on this issue and make us outspoken opponents of buying and consuming salmon.

I wonder if the salmon industry is aware that this situation could devastate existing salmon farms and fisheries?

Opening the floodgates to more GE factory farmed animals
That GE salmon could cause sharp losses across the existing salmon industry is only the beginning of the problems potentially unleashed by the FDA's disturbing shortsightedness. There has never been a genetically engineered animal approved for use in the U.S. food supply, but once the FDA approves GE salmon, it sets a precedent for other genetically engineered animals to follow.

Imagine a genetically modified cow with triple growth hormone genes, carrying muscles (meat) so large that it can't even stand on its own feet. It is grown in a "cow factory" where it suffers every day from the pain of its unnatural existence. It never sees the outdoors or experiences a single day of freedom in a pasture. Instead, it is fed antibiotics and GMO feed crops through a system of tubes, much like the imprisoned characters in The Matrix. The sole purpose of its life is to grow premium steaks and ground beef, sold by a company that genetically engineers animals to create greed-driven food profits without a single thought about the suffering of the animal itself.

This is exactly what could be unleashed by the FDA's decision on GE salmon. Only it wouldn't end with just cows: Imagine genetically modified pigs, chickens and lambs, all distorted into artificial meat-producing forms to satisfy corporate profits.

And it won't end with just food, either. Scientists are already experimenting with genetically modified animals who "grow" pharmaceuticals. Imagine a factory farm of sheep whose bodies are tapped to produce vaccines or hormone drugs.

This is the sick, demented world to which the biotechnology industry is now looking for the next wave of profits. Fueled by arrogant greed and a deeply-rooted disrespect for the natural world (and the suffering of sentient beings, which include farm animals), they will pursue bottom-line profits by any means necessary... even if it means playing God with the genes of animals and giving rise to Franken-animals that experience tremendous pain and suffering while being grown for food. (Much like in The Matrix, once again.)

The pain and suffering committed by factory farms today is more than enough reason to consider giving up all conventionally-raised meat products, by the way. But it could get far worse if the industry is allowed to start genetically engineering mutant animals designed to produce more meat (or milk) more quickly and with higher profits. And it all starts with GE salmon.

How do we even know, by the way, whether the genetically modified salmon who grow twice as fast as regular salmon experience some sort of unnatural pain as a result of their gene distortions? These gene modifications can, from another point of view, be described as a kind of "birth defect," and some birth defects quite literally result in tremendous suffering for those being unfortunate enough to be affected by them.

Not surprisingly, the experience of the animal isn't even being taken into account by the FDA! This agency, which is blind to the experience of animals, only cares about the impact of GE salmon on people who eat its flesh, not about the experience of the fish.

If this same lack of empathy is applied to future decisions regarding GE animals, it will only lead us down a dark path of Frankenfood misery, where humanity becomes the monster that creates horrific mutant animals to be grown and harvested in dark places, behind the closed doors of the sickening meat industry.

Get ready to boycott salmon
If the FDA approves GE salmon, get ready to join NaturalNews in a nationwide boycott of salmon products.

As long as GE salmon is not honestly labeled, we will boycott salmon products, and we will coordinate with other non-profits who share our belief that consumers have a right to know what they're buying and eating.

For the FDA to say that they refuse to require the honest labeling of GE salmon is an outrageous insult to consumer intelligence. It's beyond an insult, actually: It's more like a crime against the People because it consciously seeks to misinform the public about what they're eating.

It is a purveyor of ignorance and disinformation, and it is engaged in a conspiracy to commit yet another crime against humanity (against the entire planet, actually) in order to protect biotech profits.

Why can't the FDA just tell the truth and, at minimum, require that GE salmon be labeled as such?

Because being honest apparently isn't in the agency's genes. Maybe we need to genetically modify the FDA and insert some "truth hormone" proteins so it attains the ability to tell the truth. That would be a radical modification from the current behavior of the agency, wouldn't it?
